[After Lucy ran from the guild]

She tore angrily through her clothes, trying to pack enough things that would last her for about a year.  yep, that's right, Lucy's planning on running away to train.  

"I can't stand it!" she yelled, a steady steam of tears trailing down her face. "I was probably just a replacement..."

She fell to her knees and snapped. Tears followed after tears continued to come, soaking her shirt in the process.  

"Was that why Natsu ran? So that he wouldn't have to deal with me?" she sighed, finally able to stop crying.

"Not true." came a familiar voice.

"Ehh? Natsu!" Lucy screamed, turning away so he wouldn't see the state that she was in. She coughed quietly, before forcing a clam voice. "What do you want?"

"Just came to check on you.  Erza told me what happened.. why would you think she was going to kick you off the team? He pressed, trying to see her eyes without touching her.

"I don't know!  Maybe because I was just a replacement for Lisanna!" she screamed, all calmness leaving her body.

"Luce!" Natsu shouted, grabbing her shoulders an forcing her to look him in the eyes. "Why would you think that you were a replacement for Lisanna?"

"Because everyone's been ignoring me since she got back..." she whispered.

"wha... Luce, you know that we didn't mean to ignore you.. We're all just really happy shes back. I'm sure they'll get over it.

"It's been over a month since she came back, Natsu! Do you really think that things are going to go back to how they used to? 'Cause I really don't!" she screamed. Natsu flinched, guilt spreading through his body from what she said. Lucy jerked out of his hold before pointing towards the door. "Just.. Just get out!  I'm leaving, and I don't want you here to ruin my plans. LEAVE!" she screamed, tears once again flowing down her cheeks.

"Lucy..." Natsu whispered, once again flinching as Lucy snarled at him to leave. "At least stop by the guild before you go... I don't care if you don't tell them, just.. I want to see you one last time.. How long are you gonna be gone, anyway?" there was an awkward silence before she coughed and replied, "Dunno, a year? I don't want to go but I really have no choice..."

"Luce, don't go... or at least let me go with you.." His head was low, and you couldn't see his eyes because of his bangs. Lucy sighed, unsure of what to do.

"Fine.." she mumbled, before her eyes widened as his arms snaked around her waist in a tight hug.  "N-Natsu..?"

"Thanks Luce! See ya tomorrow?" Natsu chirped before jumping from the window sill after hearing her reply.

"Guess he's tagging along.." she sighed, before adding,"You idiot, why do you have to be so cute.." She finished packing before falling lazily into her bed.  

"Goodnight, Natsu.." she purred before falling asleep.
